Supreme Manufacturing, Inc is continuously on the lookout for talented, driven people to join our team. We're looking for people that appreciate working in a close-knit, family-style environment. We care about the people who work for us.
Supreme has a single location in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania. The campus is comprised of three buildings that are utilized for production, storage, engineering, and administrative functions. It is located on a 7.15-acre property. The structures are 28,800 square feet (120'x240' manufacturing), 2,400 square feet (30'x80' storage), and 1,848 square feet (28'x66' office) and are located at 327 Billy Boyd Road.
Fitters must be familiar with measuring and layout equipment, squares, levels, transits. Fitters must be able to read bluepriots. Must be familiar with FCAW for tacking weldments together. Fitters may be required to do some welding, such as welds that must be done before fit-up is completed. Must be able to verify parts are within tolerances before fitting. Fitters will be responsible for verifying weldments are fit up properly before they are given to welders. Ideal candidates will be able to fit and also skilled in welding in 3G and 4G positions.
Welders at Supreme MFG are expected to be able to weld in, 1,2, and 3G positions, meaning flat horizontal and vertical. 4G overhead welding ability is favored. Welders are expected to have basic blueprint reading particularly weld symbols and weld process instructions. Welders are often working with fitters and fabricators and are meant to follow the instructions of the fitters and fabricators regarding weld process. Welders are to weld to specifications of weld size and appearance. Welders will also sometimes be involved in material preparation as well as material handling. Ideal welders will strive to learn more skills and as more skill is gained compensation will increase.
Fabricators are expected to weld at a minimum 3G certification, 4G preferred. Fabricators are expected to be able to complete fabrications independently. The complexity of the fabrications will be considered in fabricators reviews. Fabricators are to be able to read and understand blueprints with minimal assistance. Fabricators are expected to maintain high weld quality, weld within tolerances and finish fabrications within tolerances. Fabricators will often be working with welders to ensure weld process is adjusted to minimize distortion and to ensure quality. Additionally, fabricators will be laying out and performing multiple process to assemblies and sub-assemblies.
